To achieve positive transformation in the society it requires empowering of human beings, society will not be transformed due to intensive investments in buildings. Empowered people drive transformation within the ummah. Today I am very pleased to witness the official launch of the Annual Muslim Youth Leadership Summit and Awards (AMYLESA) Program.
In this world we have two major categories of human beings; constructive and destructive human beings. A good example of destructive human beings are the Israelites as mentioned in the Quran and supported with what we are witnessing today, the genocide and massive destruction of properties in Palestine.
The major objective of the AMYLESA program is to empower our young Muslim brothers and sisters to be constructive and productive within the ummah.
The Foundation and Building Blocks for a Transformative Leadership of the Ummah include:
- Knowledge or Wisdom (Hikma)
- Humility – Seeking Unity in Diversity and Submitting to Allah.
